The best solution
Although there are many cheaper options on the market, FOAMFILL is the most effective way to dramatically reduce heat loss through external walls. The foam which resembles a shaving foam is injected through small (16mm) pre drilled holes under 120 Ibs of pressure. The foam completely fills the cavity and later solidifies creating a solid mass of insulation within the cavity. With the exception of new build, all the work takes place from the outside and most installations are completed within a day.
Why
FOAMFILL insulation is self supporting and will not settle or sag within the cavity to create voids. FOAMFILL will not absorb water and has excellent fire resistance. Unlike other insulation products, FoamFill has no effect on electrical cables or wall ties and is not effected by frost. It is rot and decay proof and requires no maintenance.

Whilst the installation of any cavity wall insulation will reduce heat loss and improve the thermal efficiency of the walls, none can compare with FOAMFILL A U-Value of .24 is easily achieved in a normal 100mm cavity compared with .34 using white polystyrene beads. A whopping 40% more efficient.
Quality Assurance
The quality assurance systems of the materials for foamfill insulation are approved under BS EN ISO.9000. The quality of Foamfill is specified and controlled in accordance with BS 5617. The system is installed in compliance with procedures as laid down DIN BS 5618
